Hello, and thank you for visiting my business website!
Introduction
My name is Erica Wang, and I am a Creative Business Strategist and Holistic Lifestyle Coach.
What is ‘holistic lifestyling’ ?
I have have almost two decades of buy-side and sell-side experience in roles managing end-to-end program and product lifecycles for digital and physical goods and services. I have had responsibilities in product development, brand management, marketing & experiential programming, procurement & supply chain management, and operations with leading global brands across private, government, and public sectors. In addition, I have also managed areas of compliance, due diligence, and risk with regards to corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability. I also have over fifteen years of experience in corporate philanthropy, nonprofit leadership, and volunteerism.
Raised by an artist mother and an engineering businessman, I have always been passionate about the arts and business. I am fascinated by the intersection of social impact, health and human services, arts and culture, and technology; and subsequently, I am always interested in unique opportunities to explore and create integrated digital and physical products, services, and experiences that may help improve our daily lives as well as the world around us.
I hold a MBA from the Cambridge Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge with concentrations in Culture, Arts & Media Management and International Marketing and a BA from Wellesley College with a double major in International Relations and Studio Art. I am also a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) (2008) and Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) (2005) from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM).
Erica is currently pursuing a Masters of Art Therapy & Counseling at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to integrate an understanding of the ways in which the practice of visual arts serves as a means for human expression, empowerment, and healing. Over the past two years, I have integrated my personal life experiences and have engaged in self-reflexive learning to better understand and develop my own balance of clinical and community-based care models of mental health and wellness. With interests in improving access (affordability and distribution) and inclusivity (culturally appropriate, person-based) to human services, I am also exploring creative programming and coding.
She resides in the Washington, DC area where she can be found playing soccer, trail running with her German Shepherd-Doberman, and teaching community yoga when not engaged in art-making and other creative endeavors.
