For those of you just starting up, I recommend having a business address that is NOT your home address. In the time of COVID-19, memberships to virtual offices at co-working sites may not be cost-effective (beginning around $75/month), particularly if you are not planning on using their amenities.

Based on affordability and mail handling services, I recommend setting up a virtual business address with the UPS store:

  1.  A real street address

  2. Package acceptance from all carriers

  3. Package and mail receipt notifications

  4. Mail holding and forwarding

  5. Call-In mail check

  6. 24-hour access

  7. Key Savings Card™ (their business discount card)

The cost for a 12-month plan is $444, which is discounted from a 3- or 6-month plan.

The United States Postal Office also offers some PO Boxes that have a street address as opposed to a “PO Box” address. However, please note that the USPS may be more affordable, but they may require you to upgrade your mailbox size if you plan for them to accept FedEx, UPS, and large packages on your behalf.
